Later, mAmunigaL, as said in the SlOkam

thathas sajamUlajIthasyAma kOmalavigrahE
pIthakauSEyasam vIdhE pInavruththa chathurbhujE
Sankhachakra gadhAdharE thunga rathna vibhUshaNE
kamalA kausthubhOraskE vimalAyatha lOchanE
aparAdhasahE nithyam dhaharAkASa gOcharE
rEmEdhAmni yathAkASam yugyAnOdhyAna sampadhA
sathathra niSchalam chEtha: chirENa vinivarthayan

(mAmunigaL, through his dhyAna samrudhdhi (abundant meditation) was in total union with paramaprApya paramapurushan (the supreme entity who is the ultimate goal) who was donning yellow vasthram (dress) on his divine, beautiful dark form which was like a cloud laden fully with water, who had four divine shoulders which were large and round, being the repository for his divine weapons of Sankham (conch), chakram (disc), gadhA (mace), who was decorated with ornaments made with distinguished gems, who was having pirAtti (SrI mahAlakshmi) and kausthubham (garland, representative of all the jIvAthmAs) on his divine chest, who was having blemishless, long, huge divine eyes, who was always tolerating the offences indulged in by his followers and who was always residing in the hearts of chEthanas (sentient entities). mAmunigaL, who was happy in his matam like this, whenever time permitted, would redeem his mind which was firmly engaged with that perumAL, from him), would redeem his mind which was totally immersed with his antharyAmi (emperumAn who was the indwelling soul) who is the auspicious refuge for all. He would then make his divine mind to be immersed affectionately with yathIndhrar (rAmAnujar), recite yathirAja vimSathi (mAmunigaL’s divine composition on rAmAnujar, in twenty SlOkams); he would then give a commentary on SrIvachanabhUshaNam (a divine prabandham composed by piLLai lOkAchAryar). Later, in the evening, he would carry out all the anushtAnams as done in the afternoon, return to the sannidhi, recite thiruppallANdu (first pAsurams to be recited from nAlAyira dhivya prabandham), carry out mangaLASAsanam [return to his matam] and while preparing to mercifully recline, as mentioned in the SlOkam

(Subsequently, being served by two or three confidential followers without a break, who were thinking of none other than mAmunigaL  sitting on a soft and beautiful seat on a cot which was made with splendorous gold shining in the glow of two lamps made of rubies having the effulgence of sun at its acme, with soft cushions, mercifully explaining the divine compositions of pUrvAchAryars in such a way that even people with low levels of intellect would clearly understand the supreme entity), he entered his divine retiring room, reclined on the divine bed and mercifully explained pUrvAchAryar’s bhOdhamanushtAnams (what they had said and what they had carried out). Enjoying such detailed explanations, while at the same time being worried needlessly about mAmunigaL’s safety, they kept praising him as mentioned in

mangaLam ramyajAmAthru munivaryAya mangaLam
mangaLam pannakEndhrAya marthyarUpAya mangaLam
Evam mangaLavAnIpirEnam sAgyali panthanA:
sathkruthya samprasIdhantham pranEmu: prEma nirbharA:

(let auspicious events happen to maNavALa mAmunigaL who is the greatest among AchAryas; let auspicious events happen to thiruvananthAzhwAn (AdhiSEshan) who has incarnated as a human, in the form of maNavALa mAmunigaL; offering salutations like this, the followers, filled with devotion, cupped their palms and worshipped maNavALa mAmunigaL who was glad hearing such auspicious words). They prostrated before him with anjalihastham (palms cupped together) with overflowing affection. He gave them permission to leave. As seen in the SlOkam

thathas sajjIkurutham bruthyai: SayanIyam vibhUshayan
yuyOja hrudhayam dhAmni yOgithyEya padhadhvayE

(Then, he lay down on the mattress readied by his disciples and kept his mind at the divine feet of paramapurushan (supreme entity) who is meditated upon by yOgis), maNavALA mAMunigaL, who himself is the mattress for emperumAn, lay down on a mattress. In his preparation to sleep, he kept his divine mind at the divine feet of the entity who reclines on the whitish complexioned AdhiSEshan.
