The reason for these AzhwArs performing prapaththi in this manner in archAvathAram while bhagavAn’s other forms such as para (in paramapadham) are there, is the completeness of qualities in this form of emperumAn; piLLai lOkAchAryar explains mercifully such completeness of quailities with pramANam (authentic reference).

Saying – as said in Sruthi (vEdham) in katavalli upanishath “pUrNasya pUrNamAdhAya pUrNamEvAvaSishyathE| sarvam pUrNam sahOm” (archAvathAram which has all qualities in full, and which originated from vyUha vAsudhEva, who is the source of all incarnations, remains as the ultimate form in para, vyUha, vibhava, antharyAmi and archA. In such archAvathAram which is the goal, all qualities are present in full).
ellA guNangaLum pushkalangaL
That is, in this archAvathAram, all qualities, that is, ASrayaNa saukarya ApAdhaka qualities (which give confidence to a person to surrender to emperumAn) and ASritha kArya ApAdhaka qualities (which make emperumAn grant the desires for the person who surrendered), are fully present.
