kodiya ennenjam avan enRE kidakkum” “adiyEn nAn pinnum un sEvadi anRi nayavEn” ennA ninRArgaLiRE.

Simple Explanation

AzhwArs [nammAzhwAr and thirumangai AzhwAr respectively] said in thiruvAimozhi 5.3.5kodiya ennenjam avan enRE kidakkum” (my cruel heart will seek him only) and periya thirumozhi 11.8.7 “adiyEn nAn pinnum un sEvadi anRi nayavEn” (even then, I will not desire anything other than your divine feet).

kodiya ennenjam …

That is – as said in “kadiyan kodiyan nediya mAl ulagam koNda adiyan aRivaru mEni mAyaththan”, after explaining emperumAn’s lack of good qualities as in one who is selfish, does not understand others’ pain, is difficult to reach for anyone, is a cheat and is difficult to comprehend, AzhwAr said “even if he is like that, my heart which is most cruel in this world, does not know anyone other than him”.

As said in “vEmbin puzhu …“, the worm which is born in and for the neem tree, will consume only the neem leaves and fruit and will not desire sugarcane even if it gets it. Similarly, even when you who are praised in periya thirumozhi 7.1.4 “kadal mallaik kidandha karumbu” (the sugarcane which is resting in thirukkadalmallai), if you become bitter like neem, I, who am totally existing for none other than you, will not desire anything other than your divine feet which are my natural lords.

piLLai lOkAchAryar is saying that AzhwArs who are blessed with “mayarvaRa madhinalam” (knowledge matured into devotion) have mercifully spoken.
