avathArikai (Introduction)
piLLai lOkAchAryar raises a doubt “in this manner, if servitude which matches the true nature of the self is most important, instead of waiting for the SEshi (lord) to take initiatives, will it be apt to engage in self-efforts towards such emperumAn, which will destroy one’s ananyOpAyathvam (not having any other means) etc?” and mercifully answers the same.

bhagavath vishaya pravruththi pinnaich chErumO ennil; adhukkadi prAvaNyam; adhukkadi sambandham; adhudhAn aupAdhikam anRu; saththA prayuktham.
Simple Explanation
“Will engaging in self-efforts for bhagavath vishayam be apt?” The reason for that is the [eternal] relationship; that is not incidental; it is present as long as the AthmA exists [forever].

prAvaNyam – Great love.
When asked “Is such great love caused by the distinguished nature of bhagavAn?” he says,
adhukkadi sambandham
sambandham means the SEshi-SEsha bhAvam (lord – servitor relationship).
When asked “Will that not occur based on the qualities [of bhagavAn]?” he says,
adhudhAn aupAdhikam anRu, saththA prayuktham
saththA prayuktham means such relationship exists ever since AthmA is present [i.e. forever].
