When asked “If one develops enmity towards bhAgavathas, one will lose his true nature; in such case, how is it that those who are having enmity towards bhAgavathas are still having name and form matching the true nature of self?” piLLai lOkAchAryar mercifully explains.

nAma rUpangaLai udaiyarAy bhAgavatha virOdham paNNip pOrumavargaL dhagdhapatampOlE.

Simple Explanation

Those who have vaishNava name and appearance, yet having enmity towards bhAgavathas, are like burnt cloth.

nAma rUpangaLai …

That is – having a dhAsya nAmam (name indicating the individual to be a servitor) and a matching appearance which are symbols of vaishNavam, yet not having compassion/love in the heart, those who are showing enmity towards bhAgavathas being bound by ahankAra etc are similar to a cloth which is totally burnt inside to ashes but is appearing to be in good condition from outside.
