bhagavAn himself said in mahAbhAratham aSvamEdhika parvam “yA prIthir mayi samvruththA madhbhakthEshu sadhA sthuthE – avamAna kriyA thEshAm samharathi akilam jagath” (Whatever love you have acquired towards me, you should acquire the same towards my devotees also; any insulting acts towards those devotees will destroy all the worlds).
