Sishyanukku nigraha kAraNam thyAjyam.
Simple Explanation
The cause for the anger should be given up by the Sishya.

Sishyanukku nigraha kAraNam thyAjyam
That is – Sishya should not consider that the AchArya’s anger is acceptable [since it does good to reform him] and repeat the cause for the anger. Sishya should completely abandon the cause for the anger which arose in AchArya’s cool heart, similar to fire rising from water [which is a rare thing].
