Simple Explanation

Since the Sishya is impoverished he will not give; since the AchArya is complete, he will not accept.

That is – since the Sishya remains impoverished thinking “Everything belongs to AchArya, there is nothing I can submit to him”, he will not give thinking that he can give something to AchArya. Since AchArya remains complete thinking “I have nothing to worry since ISvara carries all my burden”, he will not accept anything which is touched by Sishya’s pride of ownership.
