That is – AchArya, who is the cause for attaining bhagavAn and who is the ultimate goal, is attained through bhagavAn who is naturally kind-hearted and unconditionally merciful to create reasons to bless his special glance upon the chEthana, cause adhvEsham (non-hatred), cause Abhimukyam (favourable attitude), engage him in sAthvika sambhAshaNam (noble discussions) and attainment of sadhAchArya (good AchArya) as said in “ISvarasyacha sauhArdham yadhruchchA sukrutham harE: | vishNO: katAksham adhvEsham Abhimukyam cha sAthvikai: sambhAshaNam shadEthAni AchArya prApthi hEthava: ||” (ISvaran’s good heart, unknowingly done good deeds [by chEthana], vishNu who is the destroyer of sins, his merciful glance, non-hatred, being favourable, discussion with noble people, are the six causes which facilitate reaching an AchAryan).
