That is – though this relationship with bhagavAn is present since time immemorial, before AchArya makes the AthmA realise, it was as good as non-existing and after his revelation, it materialises for the AthmA; when relationship with AchAryan is destroyed, such relationship with bhagavAn will also be destroyed since there is a dependency between both; hence, without relationship with AchAryan, relationship with bhagavAn will also cease to exist. Thus, there is no option for a person to think that even if the relationship with AchAryan is gone, relationship with bhagavAn will lead to liberation.
