Now, nAyanAr identifies the cause for this AzhwAr’s prabandhams.

chUrNikai 56

paramasathvaththOdE uLLi uraikkum niRai gyAnaththu ayanAm SivanAm thirumAlaruL koNdu ivar pAdinAr.

Simple Explanation

AzhwAr sang by the grace of bhagavAn who has paramasathva state, and who speaks after analysing, who has complete knowledge and who is the antharyAmi of SrIman nArAyaNa.

vyAkyAnam (Commentary)

That is – unlike speaking as per the state of mind at the beginning of the particular day of brahmA, bhagavAn is with paramasathva (pure goodness) state, as said in thiruvAimozhi 1.3.5uLLi uraiththa” (analysed and spoke mercifully), without having sathva which is spoken along with rajas and thamas, and having the state of Sudhdha sathva (pure goodness) which no one else has, as said in sthOthra rathnam 12paramasathva samASraya: ka:” (Who has pure goodness in him?);

while whatever he says will be the meaning of vEdham, if he says quickly without analysing, some may say “he spoke as he desired without any analysis”;

hence out of great vAthsalyam (motherly forbearance) towards chEthanas (AthmAs), he mercifully analyses the path of vEdham and speaks as said in thiruvAimozhi 1.3.5neRi uLLi uraiththa” (analysed and spoke mercifully the path of vEdham);

instead of those [sages] who heard and acquired knowledge from a person (Siva) who was bewildered before and then became free from bewilderment, bhagavAn who has complete knowledge as his identity as said in thiruvAimozhi 4.8.6niRai gyAnaththoru mUrththi” (one who is complete in knowledge and having unmatched nature);

as said in thiruvAimozhi 8.8.11ayanAm sivanAm thirumAlAl” (by Sriya:pathi (SrIman nArAyaNa, divine consort of SrI mahAlakshmi) who is being the antharyAmi of brahma, rudhra et al (who are in charge of creation, annihilation etc of the universe)), due to being the antharyAmi of brahma and rudhra and managing their actions, he is known by those names;

being blessed with mayarvaRa madhinalam (divine knowledge and devotion, without any confusions) by such Sriya:pathi as said in thiruvAimozhi 8.8.11aruLappatta sadagOpan” (SatakOpa who was blessed), nammAzhwAr having received the direct blessings of bhagavAn as said in kaNNinuN chiRuth thAmbu 8aruL koNdu Ayiram inthamizh pAdinAn” (with the mercy (received from bhagavAn) he sang these thousand, sweet pAsurams).
