The reason for that is the words of paramAchArya ALavandhAr as in sthOthra rathnam 20 “vidhayaScha” (the rules of vEdham too).

That is – the reason for bhAshyakArar mercifully explaining in that manner is as said in sthOthra rathnam 20 “vidhayaScha vaidhikAs thvadhIya gambhIra manOnusAriNa:” (the rules of vEdham too follow the deep divine hearts of your devotees), even the independent vaidhika rules such as “idham kuru” (Do this), “idham mAkArshI” (Do not do this), follow the minds of your devotees who have surrendered unto you without any other expectation, which cannot be bewildered by aiSvaryam (wealth) etc – ALavandhAr has mercifully explained that SAsthrams will follow the thoughts of those who are like this AzhwAr (nammAzhwAr).
