avathArikai (Introduction)
When asked “Isn’t periyAzhwAr searching for those who can perform mangaLASAsanam and instructing them, seen only in thiruppallANdu? What is the difference between periyAzhwAr’s subsequent instructions and the instructions of other AzhwArs?” piLLai lOkAchAryar explains.

Simple Explanation
Unlike other AzhwArs who instructed to eliminate the loneliness of the listeners and speakers, bhAshyakAra (SrI rAmAnuja) and periyAzhwAr instructed to eliminate the loneliness of emperumAn who is said in thiruvAimozhi 8.3.3 “ALumALAr” (emperumAn is not recognising any servitors in this world).
vyAkyAnam (Commentary)
allAdhavargaLaippOlE …
That is – in the context of instructing others, other AzhwArs and AchAryas instruct to eliminate the loneliness of worldly people who are (a) listening to these instructions, which occurred due to being away from the good companion that is bhagavAn due to their ignorance from time immemorial, and (b) giving these instructions, due to not having good companions to discuss about bhagavAn as said in SrI bhagavath gIthA 10.9 “bOdhayantha: parasparam” (informing each other) while meditating about bhagavAn. Unlike that, when periyAzhwAr who had his stomach burning while thinking about bhagavAn’s beauty, looked around for people to perform mangaLASAsanam to emperumAn, everyone was focussed on worldly aspects; hence he started saying that there is no one in both nithya vibhUthi (paramapadham) and leelA vibhUthi (samsAram) to perform mangaLASAsanam to emperumAn and there is none who would care for emperumAn knowing his greatness; to eliminate the loneliness of such beautiful sarvESvaran, bhAshyakArar among the authentic AchAryas and periyAzhwAr among the AzhwArs who were divinely blessed by bhagavAn with clear knowledge and devotion, instructed in this manner. Thus, there is nothing wrong in saying that wherever periyAzhwAr is instructing unfavourable ones to become favourable, it is to make them perform mangaLASAsanam to emperumAn. Here, piLLai lOkAchAryar says bhAshyakArar instead of emperumAnAr, to emphasise the greatness of emperumAnAr who mercifully determined the essence of vEdhAntham through SrI bhAshyam.
